“Vulnerability is the essence of connection and connection is the essence of existence.”
-Leo Christopher

I am an associate licensed marriage and family therapist who has a passion for helping individuals, adolescents, couples and families navigate relationships where solutions to many of life’s problems seem difficult to find. I work with clients to process their past difficulties and current life/relationship experiences, as well as helping clients recognize and build upon their own strengths and resiliency.

My experience has focused on assisting clients through grief and loss, chronic illness, life and parenting transitions, communication and relationship expectation issues, anxiety and depression, intimacy concerns, and other relational issues. I strive to create a therapeutic atmosphere that is non-judgmental, safe and caring, while also meeting clients where they are on their personal journey to understanding and empowerment. My approach is direct and
collaborative, based in attachment theory and family systems/dynamics.

I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education- English from Arizona State University and taught elementary, middle and high school for many years before switching careers. I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University and am looking forward to working with clients who are ready for a change in their life. I look forward to helping you understand and navigate the difficulties found
in life experiences and important relationships that will allow joy, peace and fulfillment to return to
your life.
